Antique Victorian Mahogany Campaign Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

This antique Victorian mahogany campaign chest of drawers is in good original condition & is full of character. This chest has sunken military brass handles, brass corner fittings & brass carrying handles. The brass fittings are all naturally aged & in keeping with the rest of this piece. This chest comes apart in two sections like other campaign chest. There are dowels in the base which help the top section sit in place. There are bold turned bun feet on the base, which look like they are original. I would date this piece to around the 1860-80's period.
