Lovely Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum Armoire C1900

This is a superb quality edwardian inlaid mahogany wardrobe compactum and dating from aorund 1900. It has a flared cornice top with inlaid dental moulding with a cross banded inlaid frieze. To one side there is a full length oval bevelled mirrored door with mahogany surround and inlaid moulded pedament above and a cross banded and inlaid panel below the door has its original brass handle. Internally it has its original hooks and hanging rail ( a new hanging rail could easily be fitted if so required). To the other side there are two doors with cross banded oval panels with inlaid stringing and with internal shelf and original brass handles. This is above an open section with shaped frieze and shaped bevelled mirror to the back. To the base there are three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with cross banded and inlaid edges and with original brass handles. It stands on a plinth base.

It separates into four pieces for ease of transporting.

This is a superb quality compactum in very good condition and with a lovely deep colour and patination. It measures: 84" high X 22" deep X 17.5" internal depth X 64" wide
