A charming Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono of one of the seven Japanese gods Daikoku depicted in the seated position resting his right hand on his knee holding his mallet aloft with his left hand. This charming okimono is beautifully detailed with decoration on Daikoku’s gown and is signed on the underside, it is in excellent condition with no damage and stands 3 inches tall.
