A fine Chinese silver circular box and cover c.1900 embossed with a Chinese water deer on the lid in a central cartouche surrounded by a dragon & kylin chasing a flaming pearl, with foliage around the body. This charming box is unmarked and is in very good condition commensurate with age measuring 2 ½ inches in diameter.
