A Gents 1950s 9 Carat Gold Accurist Wrist Watch

Description

A gents 1950s 9 carat gold Accurist wrist watch.

The watch has a signed 21-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31.8mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1955 with a maker’s mark for the British Watch Case Company. The case is in nice condition with just the odd minor mark and some wear to the inner lugs from a previous metal strap.

The lens is in nice condition.

The signed sunburst dial has light surface marking but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
