A splendid Japanese Meiji period cloisonné enamel koro & cover in the Namikawa style, of bulbous form standing on three feet decorated around the body with a Ho-o bird in flight amongst floral motifs. This splendid koro has a pierced cover with finial and bears the early Ando mark on the underside, typical minor pitting otherwise the condition is excellent and the koro stands 3 ½ inches tall
