A fine quality Japanese carved boxwood netsuke from the Meiji period depicting a smiling sennin with one eye holding an octopus in each hand it is signed on the underside of the foot. This beautiful netsuke is well carved and is a good size at 5 inches in length, it is in excellent condition with no damage.
