Gents 1950s Art Deco Style Omega Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents early 1950s Art Deco style Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 302, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 12,761,115 dates it back to around 1951.

The watch itself measures 24mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs... it would look good on a slim to medium wrist. The case is 14k gold filled and it is in very nice condition. The inner case back has the Omega triangular stamp. The winding crown is probably a later replacement.

The curved lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A later brown leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
