Description

A very good solid oak pedestal desk of generous proportions from the late Victorian period. Of good construction in solid English oak with an excellent rich golden colour and patina. The rectangular top is fitted with a sumptuous blue/green leather writing surface which is decorated with gilt tooling. There is an arrangement of 9 drawers all fitted with their original brass handles. This desk is finished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if desired. It has been professionally cleaned and waxed in our workshops and is now offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
