George 1st Carved Country Oak Sideboard C1720

Description

This is a lovely antique george 1st carved country oak sideboard and dating from aorund 1720. It has a three plank top with chamfered edge above a plain frieze and two carved panelled doors with serpentine hinges. Internally there is a later victorian oak shelf. It stands in short squared feet and is hand and peg joined. It has panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back.

A lovely original early georgian sideboard in very good condition with some marking to the top but these are old and have been polished in over the years now forming part of its history and patination.

It is a lovely colour and measures:

32" high X 23" deep X 56" wide
