Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The arched mirrored doors open to reveal a superb birds eye maple lining, the interior has removable shelves, this would have been the original arrangement but there is the addition of 2 hanger rails so by taking the shelves out the armoire can be used as a hanging wardrobe

There is a concealed drawer at the bottom of the armoire and it stands on small turned feet
The Armoire is a very good quality piece, it is lined in Ash and Maple and it is sound, it has however been attacked by the notorious French “Ver du Bois”, this has been completely destroyed but it has added to the shabby opulence of this very rare piece

The Cupboard is 80” tall, 51” wide and 16” deep, it does dismantle for transportation
