French Bronze Gilt Mantel Clock

Description

?An extremely fine and decorative French bronze gilt mantel clock with royal blue sevre style painted porcelain panels and urn to the top stood on a shaped gilded wooden base. To the sides the clock is adorned with a female mask and cascading flowers. The clock has an eight day French movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.

The movement back plate is stamped:-

CH VCNE

The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.
