Description

A 19th Century Mahogany Wine Cooler, Jardiniere.

The circular ringed and stepped rim, holding a lift out copper bucket liner, within a body of shaped vertical slates, between four fluted supports fo conforming shape. The supports finished with outward swept carved bases, enhanced with fluted edges and facing blocks. The whole on a circular base, with a carved leaf central boss, and fluted edges. The base raised up on four turned cup feet.

Date c 1870.
