Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The case features a solid timber dial surround; cast brass bezel and a trunk that is veneered in fine 'flame' mahogany, The 8-day fusee timepiece movement retains its original 14-inch painted dial; good blued steel hands and long pendulum. 16.5ins wide; 22ins high overall and 6.5ins deep. (42 x 56 x 15.5cms).
