The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement has a beautiful damascened finish and is fully signed. The serial number of 20,364,842 dates it back to 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is a silver 2oz case and there are hallmarks inside all three covers for Birmingham 1918, together with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, who had a close association with Waltham. The covers have some gentle unevenness.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, the lens is in good condition.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
