Description

A superb pair of bookends with a wonderful look. The stands are made from a polished black stone, with a great shiny patina. Each is mounted with a fabulous Stag head, made from metal, presumably spelter, and each beautifully painted.

Art Deco in era, dating to around 1930. The footprint of each measures 3 1/2" x 3 5/8" x 8" tall; the maximum depth measuring 4 1/4" deep. Excellent condition.
