A George III Mahogany Inlaid Sideboard

18th century
Description

In lovely figured mahogany and inlaid with satinwood and boxwood stringing, this sideboard stands on 6 square tapered legs with spade toes. The central drawer is in flame mahogany with banding and inlaid fans to the corners, the drawers to either side are quartered with circular central panels and again are banded and have fans. Finally, the top is of mahogany but this time with a larger satinwood banding. The handles are old replacements and the sideboard is in very good condition and of a good colour. 820mm high, 1520mm wide and 670mm deep. Circa 1790.
