Description

A fine quality marquetry inlaid Edwardian Period bookcase by Edwards & Roberts The upper bookcase section has a broken swan neck pediment with carved roundels, pierced fretwork and inlaid detail to the frieze. Having twin solid mahogany doors with classical astragal glazing bars which open to reveal an adjustable shelved interior. The lower section constructed using the finest solid mahogany with a ribbon and harebell inlaid frieze, above twin door with fine marquetry and pen-work floral inlaid panels. Having solid mahogany sides and supported on shaped bracket feet. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 36" wide x 16" deep x 90" high

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
