A 1930s Pocket Watch, Chain and Football Albert

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1930s pocket watch, chain and football albert.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel (four adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover… the inner cover has scratches and marking.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel. It has a little gentle unevenness to the back, and some surface marking from use.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single albert which measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a shorter chain upon which hangs a fob from Ealing & District Youth Football League.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
