Rare Antique English Figural Match Strike - Owl - London 1909

Description

Always highly sought-after and collectible, these moulded figural Owl match strikes or table vestas don't come around all that often. The rim is made from English Sterling silver (minor wear commensurate with age) and is hallmarked for London 1909, Edwardian in era.

It is also lucky enough to have an English design registration number etched into the underside, this design registered in 1904.

About as charming as they get, retaining his original glass eyes and in excellent condition. 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
