Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
There are reeeded columns/stiles which are capped with inlaid paterae. The diamond shaped escutcheons are in bone. The original solid mahogany drawer handles are present. All of these features denote the quality of this piece but at the same time are under-stated. The top section has two pairs of cupboard doors (lockable with keys supplied) which open to reveal shelved interiors. The base section accommodates 3 banks of 4 graduated drawers. All in all, this cupboard offers up significant storage capacity. Overall it has a wonderful mellow colour and patina, we have had it cleaned and waxed in our workshops but it still retains all of its character and charm. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. It splits into two sections for ease of installation.
