A fine Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono depicting a hunter at rest standing beside a plant he rests his rifle butt down holding the muzzle and a tobacco pouch in his left hand with his kiseru held tactfully between the index & middle finger f his right hand. This beautifully drawn okimono is signed on the underside, it has a stable age-related crack on the reverse otherwise it is in excellent condition standing 8 inches tall.
