Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The seats have been newly recovered in a cream brocade fabric over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. In good condition, good patina, very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful set of dining chairs. Dating from circa 1870.
