A fabulous 18th century French silver shoe buckle of rectangular form with chamfered corners set with an inner & out band of old cut rhinestone with a central band of decorative rose gold filigree work. This dazzling belt buckle is beautifully finished with hinged steel clasps with a lovely heart motif design, it is hallmarked on the underside and is in excellent condition measuring 3 ¾ inches in length.
