A fine French Burr Maple snuff box c.1850 of rectangular form with an integral hinged lid inlaid in the centre with an oval mother of pearl cartouche, this snuff box has a tortoiseshell lined interior and apart from a couple of scuffs commensurate with use, it is in very good condition measuring 3 ½ inches in length.
