Description

19th century silver-mounted glass wine ewer/jug, of elegant classical design. The finely etched glass body is a profusion of floral decoration, and the silver mounted base, handle, neck and lid/cover are in great classical style with masks, serpents and figures. To add to this, the lid is opened and closed by a spring mechanism inside the handle. Elegant, interesting, and of great quality.
