Art Deco Silver & Tortoiseshell Trump Marker by G Bentjemann & Sons, London 1920

Description

This is a fabulous silver mounted tortoiseshell trump marker. Made by George Betjemann & Sons of London it has very clean and elegant lines. Of circular form, the top inset with a tortoiseshell medallion. The simple silver handle with a swivel action to show the different suites and the No Trumps.

The loaded base lined with black Morocco leather.

Hallmarks:

GB&S for George Bentjemann & Sons.

London Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "f" for 1920.

Condition:

Very good.

Tortoiseshell in excellent, glossy condition.

Swivel action in excellent condition.

Very minor dings round the silver casing.

Sits evenly on flat surface.

Good set of marks.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 7cm / 2.4 inches.

Height up to finial: 3cm / 1 inches.
