A Gents 9 Carat Gold Cyma Wrist Watch, 1934

Description

A gents 9 carat gold Cyma wrist watch, 1934,

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 216, which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Birmingham 1934, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison from the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has some gentle unevenness to the back but overall is in good condition for such an early piece.

The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial with small number markers, and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box from a Scarborough jeweller.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
