This large impressive antique mahogany bookcase is of high quality with all the shelves being fully adjustable on sharks teeth supports. It has actually been adapted from a Victorian wardrobe, so the framework is all original, with the depth having been cut back. The mahogany has a rich colour & patina, so it's full of character. Don't be put off by the configuration of the shelves, because we simply didn't put them all in with similar gaps. They can actually be put anywhere you want. This bookcase has a bold cornice, which has curved ends, as has the sides & plinth. It comes apart in many pieces for easy transportation. The cornice lifts off & the three middle sections lift off from the plinth.
