Description

A very fine 19th Century mahogany folding artists easel with brass adjusting mechanism. This antique easel was made by J & W Vokins, the Vokins family were picture frame and makers of artists materials, they supplied many renowned artists from the late 18th Century and also Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales. This provenance is reflected in the excellent quality of this easel which would be an elegant means of displaying an important artwork in any home or gallery.
