Description

An 18th Century Tin Glazed Tureen and Cover.

The domed cover with a button finial handle, surrounded by blue banding and flowing flowers. The cover finished with a flat rim, slightly overhanging the body. The body of round circular shape, tapering downward and inward to a raised foot rim. the body painted with flowing flowers, as per the cover and mounted with a pair of re-entrant handles.

Date c 1730.
