Pretty Sterling Silver and Lilac Enamel Lidded Jar

Description

Pretty as a picture, this small glass vanity jar looks as though it has been tucked away safely for many years, it's in remarkable pristine condition.

The cut crystal pot is undamaged and topped with a sterling silver lid imported (probably from France) with an English hallmark for London 1928. The makers initials are also present for George Stockwell. The top is beautifully decorated with a highly sought-after lilace coloured guilloche enamel. The patina is glossy showcasing the basket weave engine turned decoration below the enamel.

Superb condition measuring 1 5/8" in diameter x 1" tall.
