Pair of Antique Swedish Leather Tub Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

This pair of Swedish antique leather upholstered armchairs have the most amazing multi-coloured leather upholstery, which is still in good original condition. The colours are extraordinary & the leather is totally naturally distressed. There are light & darker shades of green with some brown showing through, especially on the ends of the arms. They also have generous proportions with fully sprung seat & are extremely comfortable. The backs are fluted & they sit on very solid tapered legs. I would date them to around the 1910 period & they are structurally sound. Please enlarge all the images to see the amazing colours which gives these chairs so much character.
