Pretty English Sterling Silver and Pink Enamel Lidded Jar

Description

Pretty as a picture, this small glass vanity jar looks as though it has been tucked away safely for many years, it's in remarkable pristine condition.

The cut crystal pot is undamaged and topped with an English sterling silver lid decorated with the most sought-after colour of guilloche enamel, pink. The patina is glossy showcasing the engine turned decoration below the enamel.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Albert Carter.

Superb condition measuring 1 5/8" in diameter x 1" tall.
