10 Seater Extending Mahogany Dining Table C.1830.

Description

Superb early 19th.c. mahogany dining table c.1830. Extending from 45" to a maximum length of 88" with three additional leaves to comfortably seat 10 people. Solid mahogany top with rounded corners and a deep moulded edge. With a slim apron below and raised beautifully turned and carved legs, also in solid mahogany, with original brass castors. With a slim turned fifth leg at the centre – a feature of these earlier tables. Quality timbers of particularly good colour. Excellent condition with original locking catches to hold the leaves in place. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
