An Antique Waltham Open Faced Pocket Watch

Description

An antique Waltham open faced pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number 7,156,029 which dates production to the second half of the 1890s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and overall is in good condition, just some rubbing to the back from use.

The watch glass has little marks across it but is very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial is in very nice condition with fine blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
