Scottish Georgian Mahogany Longcase Clock. Circa 1825

18th century
Description

Fine Scottish Georgian highly figured mahogany longcase or grandfather clock with 8 day striking movement by J. Craw of Forfar. The case in superb original condition with no damage and lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. The movement has been recently fully overhauled and is in perfect working order. Comes with all keys. Note the finely decorated pendulum and original iron weights.

Size; 82" high, 18" wide at hood, 10" deep at hood, 12.5" across dial.
