Large Antique Victorian Overmantle Mirror

Description

An attractive antique Victorian ebonised and gilt over-mantel mirror / hall mirror. A good sized mirror, with gothic quatrefoil pattern to the frame, and gilt detailing, with original mirror plate. Mirror plate nicely aged, with loss of silvering in places. Could be used as a hall mirror or as an overmantle mirror above a fireplace.

Construction/Wood:

Ebonised and Gilt frame

Condition Report:

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some foxing and loss of silvering in places to the original mirror plate. Small piece of frame missing to bottom right.
