A fine Earthenware relief moulded jug c.1842 by Jones & Walley entitled ‘Good Samaritan’ decorated with a frieze around the body depicting a man riding a donkey stopping to help another whilst another man on horseback rides on. Beautifully detailed with an ornate handle and bordering this charming jug has a trefoil spout and is fully marked on the underside, it is in excellent condition with no damage and stands 7 ½ inches tall.
