A fine late Victorian dome topped writing box walnut veneered with brass bound decoration and an ornate brass bound escutcheon, it has a rear hinged lid with ebony banding and a complete interior for paper, envelopes & stamps. This splendid box comes with its key but the lock is not turning; it is in excellent condition and measures 8 inches across.
