Description

Beautiful early 19th.c. oak Welsh dresser c.1820. Fine example of a South Wales cottage dresser with a short well proportioned rack with a crisp moulded cornice, two shelves and 30 small brass hooks. Over an open base with three long drawers over two small ‘knife’ drawers (the centre being a dummy drawer front). Double arch apron and turned legs joined with the original potboard shelf. Lovely colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
