A splendid Black Forest carved wood glove box c.1890 rectangular with a rear hinged lid standing on four feet the box is beautifully carved with a branch and leaf escutcheon and a spray if flowers on the lid. The box has a velvet interior and apart from missing one screw in the hinge it is in excellent overall condition commensurate with age; it measures 10 ½ inches in length.
