Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The fitting has two drill holes for easy attachment to the ceiling.

The light measures 83cm in total in length - from the ceiling fitting to the very bottom of the shades. The cherubs measure approximately 20cm in length and across their wings it is 15cm. The ceiling hook is 10cm in diameter.

Everything is in good condition, although the shades have some wear around the edges where they slot into the shade carriers - however, they are the original shades. We haven't polished the brass because our customers prefer us to leave things as they are. It is a collectors piece.

The light has been completely rewired to UK specifications with dark fabric cable, and each light fitting takes a standard size lightbulb - we suggest pygmy bulbs and 25w would be adequate.
It can be viewed by appointment with us in Surrey as we no longer sell through a retail outlet. If collection can be arranged by the buyer, we will pack it safely and offer a discount on the price.
