Antique Victorian Oak Settle Hall Bench

Description

Victorian carved oak box settle, monks bench, hall seat, This antique 19th century oak settle has three lovely carved oak panels to the back with carved boarder to the top and bottom, the arm rests have solid oak carved lions with carved detail. The seat lifts for storage, having two panels under with the green man carved to the centre of the panels, either side of the panels having the green man carved with leaves under the sides also having lovely carved detail. The settle would date to the late Victorian period.
