The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Venus 170 movement which is working nicely.
Banner Watch Co was a New York importer of Swiss made watches.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown, pushers and lugs. The case has a plated bezel and centre section with a stainless steel case back. There is marking and wear to the plate commensurate with the age of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish which has aged rather nicely over the years. Blued steel feuille shaped hands, subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock to record up to 60 minutes, and another at 6 o’clock for constant seconds. The chronograph feature is operated by pressing the top button to start and stop, and the bottom button to re-set. The dial is signed Banner but the text is very faint.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
