A Good 'Arts and Crafts' Period Aneroid Barometer. Circa 1900.

Description

An attractive and fully functional 'arts and crafts' aneroid wall barometer in the wheel or banjo style. Circa 1900.

Solid mahogany case with opaque glass thermometer scale, brass glazed bezel below, exposed polished and laquered movement with silvered half dial.

The case is carved with classic arts and crafts symbols and is 27 inches overall in length. The dial is 6 inches and the overall width ast widest part of the trunk is 9 inches.

Working and predicting weather with better accuracy than the bbc and met' office combined!!
