Description

A high quality French 4 glass mantel/table clock. A brass case with stepped mouldings and dentil cornice detailing. Corinthium capped side columns with acanthus leaves. An enamel dial with blue numerals and floral chasing with fine gilt hands. A merury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism by Japay Freres striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1890.
