19th Century kingwood and ormolu mounted side cabinet, the top section decorated profusely with a large pierced ormolu gallery incorporating a shelf, this is resting on the ormolu moulded edge top, the frieze below wonderfully decorated with ormolu floral and bead decoration, the shaped glazed door, also with ormolu decoration, opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside, the shelves and the inside of the cabinet having been recently re-lined with a red fabric with also the front edge of the shelves having ormolu decoration, the door flanked either side with large ormolu angel mounts at the top and floral ormolu mounts at the bottom, each side of the cabinet having ormolu figures at the centre, standing on a shaped ormolu moulded plinth decorated with ormolu mounts, a very impressive piece and the whole thing is in excellent condition. Circa 1860.
