Lovely Edwardian Howard Arm Chair C1900

Description

This is a lovely antique edwardian original howard & son armchair and dating from aorund 1900. It has a lovely shaped back with typical howard stylised shaped arms. It has its original horsehair upholstery and covered in a later cotton damask that is slightly faded in part. It stands on splayed back legs with turned oak front legs on castors. It has its howard & son stamp and rg no. 1693/1146.

We feel it would probably have had a feather seat cushion which is no longer with the chair but would be very easy to replace.

Measures: 33" high X seat height 13" X 37" deep X 27" wide
