Georgian Oak Clothes Press Armoire on Chest of Drawers C1780

Description

Lovely george 111 oak clothes press armoire dating from aorund 1780. It has a cornice top with deep frieze above two fielded panelled doors and with later internal hanging rails. To the base there are two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined and with original brass handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on later small bun feet. In lovely condition with good colour and patination to the oak. It does have a joint line to the side where the oak meets but this is not unusual.

Measures: 79" high X 22" deep X internal depth top 18" X 49" wide
